In 1976, scientists from the Air Force Weapons Laboratory used the VP-8 Image Analyzer, an image processing analog computer that creates brightness maps, on a negative monochrome image of the Shroud of Turin.
The resulting brightness map of the Shroud generated by the VP-8 Image Analyzer was unexpected. It revealed that the image of the Man of the Shroud contained three-dimensional (3D) information encoded in the image as brightness or intensity levels which seemed to accurately represent the cloth-to-body distance.
In 2024, KATECHON CREATIONS independently decoded the Shroud’s intensity levels and generated the digital files required to build, through additive manufacturing or 3D printing, the encoded 3D representation of the Man of the Shroud.
This 3 15/16" x 4 15/16" PLA filament version does not have any hanging holes or hooks.
